Lich King Raids

We started our raids last week with 2 groups of 10 goin in to Naxx. We didn't quite have the numbers we needed yet to 25man. 1 of our groups ended up the week with a full clear. The other managed to make many things dead.

This week we started our 25man raids. Tuesday we were in looking to take down Anub'Rekhan first. After several attempts and many DCs we finally managed to get him down. Not sure what was going on with the game but we had several people DCing in that fight. It made it harder for sure. Wed we we headed over to take out Sartharion. I think it was the 3rd attempt or so and he went down. Next up was Archavon the Stone Watcher who we had attempted the night before but did so with less than a full raid so we were running in to enrage timer. On this night we downed him fairly easily after an attempt or two. We also managed to kill Grand Widow Faerlina and Maexxna Tues. Thursday we were back in Naxx and we started off with Noth the Plaguebringer. After seeing the fight and dying a couple times we managed it fairly easily. Heigan the Unclean was next up. Crazy running around fight that we finished after dying several times learning the ropes. Lastly for the week we finished by taking out Loatheb. We 1shot him. GJ all! More new shit dies next week. Illidan is dead

Tonight we went in to Black Temple with one thing left to do and that was to take down Illidan Stormrage. We started off with 1 goal first and that was to get through phase2. The hardest part I think for us was figuring out the tanking. Finally we started gettin through phase 2 but many times early in the night it was with too few people alive. After many attempts it got easier. Then we had to learn the final phases. We kept making adjustments and figuring out where to be and not to be. On our LAST attempt of the night Illidan Stormrage hit the floor and coughed up his phat loots. It was a great night for Vengeance all! If you weren't there you missed an epic night. GJ Vengeance!

Illidari Council takes a dirt nap!

Last few weeks we have been in Black Temple working our way through the place. In the first couple weeks we quickly worked our way through to the Illidari Council fight where we hit a bit of a wall. We had several frustrating nights in there working on that fight. Our persistence finally paid off. Tonight we went in and made a couple of small changes to our setup and BOOM Illidari Council was down BITCHES! It was a goal for the guild to get through Black Temple before the expansion and we are close to coming through on that. Great job all! It was cool to get a glimpse of how good Vengeance can be. Illidan is next tomorrow so fucking LOG ON and make shit dead with us. Grats to those that got some new T6 tonight. Pic below of our kill.

Tuesday night we were back in Black Temple. We took down Naj'entus, Supremus, and Shade of Akama easily. We then headed to Gorefiend where he dropped like a bad habit. Then it was over to Bloodboil where we 1shotted him like nothing. I won't lie all the instances have been nerfed pretty heavily so this shit was easy as fuck but at least we are getting to see these bosses. Grats all on loots. We started off our night tonight with a really quick Gruuls run since we are still looking for a couple Trophys. After that we headed to Black Temple where we downed High Warlord Naj'entus, Supremus, and Shade of Akama. Pics of Supremus and Shade are below. Grats all on loots and GJ everyone. Lets keep it up! Thursday night we headed in to Hyjal with our new talents ready to kill shit. We got Rage, Anetheron, and Kaz'rogal down fairly easily. That left plenty of time to clear to and play with Azgalor. We got him down on our 2nd attempt which gave us our first pieces of T6!! Grats Wosh, Exzile, and Vaporizer on the T6 gloves. GJ all! We hope to be in BT next week playing with new bosses so log on!

Hyjal Summit

Thursday night we were back in Hyjal with Demondred and Ameghany taking the reigns on tanking the waves. Took a couple tries learning the tanking and then we cleared to Rage easily and 1shotted him. Next up was Anetheron where we made it again through the waves but struggled on Anetheron and the Infernals he drops. We had 2 attempts on him with the latter being our best attempt. Next time we are in there I feel like he will drop. Ended up a great night of learning and we will be back in there going strong next week if numbers permit. GJ everyone this week. Kaz'rogal DOWN!

We spent the majority of our raid week in Hyjal this week. Tues the server had so much lag raiding was called off. Wednesday we started off with a quick Hydross kill and then had the needed people on to head to Hyjal. We headed there and 1 shotted Rage easily. Then we setup and worked on Anetheron a couple times. Anetheron is still a pretty rough fight for us but we got him down on our 2nd try I believe it was. Smoothest kill on him yet. We had 2 deaths during the fight but both were battle rezd and we finished him off with all 25 up. Following that we headed to the horde camp and setup for the trash to Kaz'rogal. We ended up at the 5th wave a couple times dying because our Paladin tanks weren't staying up.

Thursday was a new day and we went in fresh this time. We worked out some wave strats, wiped a couple times learning, and then finally got to Kaz'rogal. Our first attempt on him we had him to like 17%. Not bad I thought for first time playing with him. Now we had to start over though. We setup, got buffed, and made it cleanly through the waves. We involved all the npc's we could before we really started unloading and managed to BARELY get him down. He did go down though!!!! Great Job all on our first Kill of Kaz'rogal. I am putting 2 screenshots below. First 1 is our kill. Below that will be how it looked at 1% with only Wherdahoodat up, 3 healers that managed to be alive, and my dick in the dirt.

Al'ar and Anetheron down!

Wednesday night we were back at it. We started off in TK looking to down Al'ar. Took a couple tries but we got him down. Only our 2nd time downing Al'ar! Then we booked it over to Hyjal summit. We had Rage down already this week and had been working on Anetheron. We setup, got started, and BOOM!! Anetheron's dick was in the dirt. Only our 2nd time downing Anetheron also. So 2 2nd kills for us tonight. GJ Vengeance. We are looking to down Kaz'rogal Monday so be on everyone!

Lady Vashj

Thursday night we spent the night making our first attempts on Lady Vashj. For those of you who have done this fight I'm sure you can imagine how our night went. That bitch is rough. Phase 1 was a joke for us and we never had any problems with it but phase 2 wow! We did make some progress for sure and learned a lot about the fight. We hope to try to get in there again on Monday before the servers reset. Great job all on a hard frustrating night. We will get that bitch down soon!
